This year’s destination is the vibrant city of Hannover, known for its
seemingly ever-present trade fairs, the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen, the
Maschsee Lake and the Old Town district plus a quirky city hall curved tower -
with lift Not far away is the very
attractive town of Hildesheim, with many UNESCO listed buildings.

Visits to Brauhaus Ernst August, HBX and Herrenhauser breweries are
planned during your stay. Timings have still to be finalised. There are five

Rail fares are already on sale so I wish to register the group as soon as
possible. A non-refundable deposit is required to do this. We shall leave
St. Pancras at 0827 to Bruxelles arr 1130. The now-usual one hour
interchange gives time for your first Eurodrink of the day after which we step
aboard the 1225 ICE to Köln, now using the high-speed line across the

4th DECEMBER
This is a day for you to wander through the city, find your own pub, ride
some trams, etc.
SUNDAY 5th
DECEMBER
It is planned to have a special opening of the tramway museum in the south-east
area of the city. The museum has the only nationwide collection of tramcars in 
MONDAY 6th
DECEMBER
This is an “extra” day in our previous Xmas tours to partly compensate
for the longer journey and to allow you to visit another city of historic
interest in the area. Examples are

7th DECEMBER
The return to

The estimated
cost of this five day/four night tour (INCLUDING rail travel) should not exceed
£410 twin share or £460 single occupancy. An exchange rate of €1.15=£1.00 has
been used The balance letters will take account of the rate at that time. The

the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid to Crookham
Travel, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or
